Great place!

A hotel staff recommended me to try this steak house. It's quite old school but the quality is so damn good. No fancy food decorations, but the taste is so great. Please go to this one when you visit kawakuchiko!

Delicious meat can be eaten.Together with Koshu wine it is an excellent item.You should have someone drive.The atmosphere of the shop is a log house style.I felt happy like I was chilling out in the mountain hut.There is a cat in this shop, so cat-allergic people are cautious.It was a really cute little cat, it was friendly.After a while I was going to be very happy.The budget is around ¥ 2,000 to ¥ 3,000, but how about it for a luxurious lunch?

Hushan Pavilion Hotel staff recommended a local steakhouse, a Western decor although slightly old but full of warm atmosphere, high-ceilinged dining space feels comfortable. Steak meat is tender, medium rare just right, with the cabbage and carrots are all maintained the original sweetness and light, crispy, very recommend this restaurant! Stew beef tongue is tender, absolutely want to taste and see.

Great experience, may be a little bit unfriendly staff at the beginning, but they warmed up to us. Food is great, portions are big. Those were probably the biggest prawns I’ve ever had. Salad dressing was delicious. Tea had a lovely homely taste. The interior is very pleasant and cozy. Wooden panels give you very a “warm and secure” feeling. Very good place to dine after a walk around Kawaguchiko lake.

The price setting is expensive because it is authentic Western food.Beef tongue stew is a perfect score.Do you want to stick to bread?

The steak and beef tongue were popular, but I didn't feel like a steak, so I ordered a hamburger. It was a tasty hamburger that was soft and had a good taste of meat after chewing. I definitely ate a hamburger right now! I think that you should order. Next I want to eat steak.

Amazingly delicious steak!I had the Premium fillet steak [called "special" on the menu though! Medium rare] and my partner had the beef cheek and tongue stew. The meat was cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth and absolutely scrumptious. We also had the onion soup and it was soooo flavourful and delicious we nearly ordered more! The cheese plate starter was average (only one type of cheese, couple of types of crackers and a little bit of salami) but still tasted good and worked as a nice start off to the meal. Wish there were two or three different cheeses though. Yes, there is plastic on the tables which doesn't look the best... But who cares when the food is this delicious?!?!!! Staff were ok, and there is an English menu (some questionable translations, but good enough to order correctly).The photo of empty (and practically cleaned!) plates should speak for itself. We were so hungry and enjoying it so much that we didn't take any before pictures!

Lovely quaint joint!! Excellent food & service, at very reasonable price. Will surely return if back in Fuji. Lady staff was polite, attentive & efficient. Went around 6pm, ordered the Russian beef in pot, with rice. Didn't have to wait long for food to be served, piping hot. Came with complimentary mini salad & coffee. The beef was excellently cooked with great flavor, the accompanying ingredients (cabbage/mushroom/etc) were very fresh & tasty! The other dishes served, like steak & shrimp, looked good too.

A long-established western restaurant next to Toyoko Inn, in front of Kawaguchiko Ohashi. The pork saute is outstanding. When the customer service becomes a little more friendly with this, it will be 5 stars.

Today, first visit with my wife. I ordered the most popular tan stew and tail stew with few shops. This is soft and delicious.Since it was my first time, I couldn't understand the volume and left about half of the rice.It is hard to come from Tokyo, but I come to Yamanashi every year so I will use it again.The next one comes in August during the Bon Holiday.

The single old lady helming the front of the shop was very efficient and friendly. Their English menu was also very well labeled. The size of the portion of their food was pretty big so it was worth the price, although it is definitely more towards the higher end of the scale e.g a main can be expected at between 2100~3700 yen or so. My family was fed full and happy and the cosy log house atmosphere was very welcoming break from the cold weather at the Lake Kawaguchi area

The stew of beef and beef tongue is really soft and stewed.But the sauce is a bit sour.
